You have to think about how many people who are in the top 50 exp rank wise actually visit the site anymore. There is the possibility that you have overtaken 2 people who have the same experience and are no longer active.

That seems to be what happened. But it's unusual to gain one rank getting two at once is weird. At there was a time when I gained a rank but lost it a few days later without missing a deposit.
